🗣 Join us for an evening of delicious food intermixed with historical tidbits, personal recollections, and recipes from our featured guests. They will prepare a range of food to taste as a culinary celebration of both Chumash and Mexican cultures, with tasting, chatting and gaining insights into day-to-day life in the Mission Era. This will not be a lecture, and more of an event. Truly an exciting evening not to be missed!
Maria is a retired school teacher and an active member of the community. She has been volunteering with the Mission for over 15 years, and is active all across the property between the parish, museum, archive, and with the Franciscans.
