About the event

September 17, 2026 | Featuring: Keith Warner, OFM & Jack Clark Robinson, OFM - "The Globalization of the Franciscan Charism Since Vatican II"

🗣 The Vatican Council of 1963-1965 (Vatican II) called for religious communities to renew themselves by doing two things:  1) Examining their founding charisms – why were they founded?  2) Exploring the signs of the times – what do they have to offer the world today?  Responding to those two questions has led to growing global Franciscan influence, even as Franciscans have declined in number in Europe and the US.  What does this mean for the present and the future?
