About the event

Creating Connections recalls that Franciscan friars since coming to Santa Barbara have shared both their faith and broad knowledge of many subjects. They taught to enrich the life of the community around them. This series will point to some unexpected connections between past and present.

The first lecture will examine the contributions of Franciscans from Spain, Mexico, Ireland, Germany, and many other places across 238 years at the Old Mission.
